Brian J. Buckley
Managing Partner/CIO
Brian began his career in wealth management in 1978 at Paine Webber Jackson & Curtis. In 1988 he joined Dean Witter Reynolds which eventually merged into Morgan Stanley. During that same year, he earned the Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®) designation from The Wharton School of Business, becoming one of the first financial advisors to do so. Prior to founding Buckley Wealth Management, he was Senior Vice President at Morgan Stanley and directed The Buckley Group, a wealth advisory practice within the firm. In February 2017, Brian founded Buckley Wealth Management as an independent, family-owned Registered Investment Adviser.
Brian has called Las Vegas home since 1968, when his family relocated from Los Angeles. He attended Bishop Gorman High School before earning his undergraduate degree from Santa Clara University in 1976. His connection to this city runs deep, and so does his commitment to it, having long devoted his time to charitable organizations and serving on various committees for the Investments and Wealth Institute® (formerly IMCA).
Outside of work, Brian’s greatest source of pride and joy is his three grown children and two grandchildren.
